NORRIS HENDERSON

Norris survived Angola, one of the most brutal prisons - a plantation - in the United States, and didn't merely survive. He organized from inside. He documented. He bore witness. And then he came out and kept fighting, because he knew that personal liberation is incomplete without collective liberation.

Working with him on Angola Do You Hear Us? Voices From a Plantation Prison reminded us why we make films: not to observe from a distance, but to stand alongside people who are already doing the work. His partnership has made our Impact campaigns sharper, more rooted, more real.

As an Art For Justice grantee partner and a core collaborator, he represents Aubin at its most essential: justice-driven, community-led, unflinching.
