RU HOCKLEY
To appear in two Aubin films, and on numerous zoom panels during COVID, is to be a genuine part of our story, not a passing presence but a recurring voice, a familiar face, someone the audience comes to trust and love because we trust and love Ru.
She gave both Aggie and Paint Me a Road Out of Here a continuity of spirit and a depth of perspective. She moves through these stories like she moves through life, with integrity and openness and that shows up on screen in ways no amount of craft can manufacture.
