What’s On Your Plate?, our film about kids and food politics, which was completed when they were twelve, is one of the most remarkable things Aubin has ever been a part of. Because their age made that possible, their clarity of vision, fearlessness of inquiry, and an intimacy with their subject that no adult filmmaker could have manufactured. They were the featured participants on screen, and they were also co-producers. They drove the questions. They are the film.
